Ingredients:

(For 8 servings).

  • 1 can of pineapple in its juice.
  • 1 natural yogurt.
  • 3 measures of plain yogurt.
  • 2 measures of sugar yogurt.
  • 1 measure of sunflower oil yogurt.
  • 3 eggs.
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder.
  • Liquid candy.
  • Red cherries to decorate.

Preparation of the inverted pineapple cake:

We distribute a film of liquid caramel around the base of the mold until covered. On the other hand, we separate the pineapple slices from their juice with the help of a strainer. We reserve the juice for later and place the slices in the base of the mold on the caramel. We also place some red cherries, covering the gaps between the slices.

In a large container or bowl, beat the eggs until foam comes out. We add the yogurt and mix. With the yogurt cup, we take 2 measures of sugar and add it to the bowl. Add a measure of sunflower oil and mix again until everything is well integrated.

In a separate clean container, we mix the flour with the yeast. Next, we add the yeast flour little by little in the previous mixture while we stir.

We pour the dough into the mold where we had the caramel with the base fruit. We put the mold in the oven and cook for about 35 minutes at 180 ° C. with heat up and down. We will check that the cake is done when it comes out clean when punctured with a knife.

We take the cake out of the oven and we wait for it to cool down a bit. When it is warm, we pass a knife around the edge and unmold. We put a flat plate on the cake and we turn it around. Finally, we prick the surface of the cake with a toothpick and pour the pineapple juice that we had reserved to make it juicier.
