Embedded
Built-in sinks are the most popular in our bathrooms. This is what we call all those that fit into the furniture countertop and become part of it as if it were a single piece. However, there are nuances that make us distinguish different types within these.

In recent times these sinks have gained popularity. They are a modern and striking bet to decorate the bathroom thanks to the games of shapes and colors that they propose. They are placed on the countertop, generally on the bathroom cabinet, thus gaining prominence over the built-in ones.
Countertop sinks are independent pieces that stand out from the bathroom furniture. They are very decorative and allow to create interesting contrasts between sink and countertop. Be careful, however, if you go from a built-in sink to a countertop one, as the taps may not work for you due to the difference in height. High-spout taps or wall-mounted taps are the most suitable for this type of sink.
Beyond their aesthetics, they are very appropriate for decorate courtesy toilets. These are usually small and a small countertop is enough to be able to place a sink of this type, which saves space.

Pedestal sinks were very common in homes in the past. They were and still are composed of two pieces: the pedestal, which is fixed to the floor, and the sink, which rests on the first. And although you may think of them as an outdated alternative to decorate your bathroom, the truth is that there are very modern proposals.

Current designs have little or nothing to do with those we remember seeing in our grandmothers' houses. We do not mean by this that they have disappeared, they continue to settle; however its design has evolved to adapt to new trends. Now they present cleaner designs.
They are not the most practical washes since do not have storage space but they take up little space. Smaller bathrooms look more spacious with this type of sink, although we still prefer a countertop or wall-mounted sink over these, our next proposal, for cleaning reasons.
