Step by step

In the next video-tutorial I show you the steps to follow in detail of the 3 ideas with tin cans. You will see that they are very easy of doing.

Tissue box

To make the tissue box you better look for a can with tapa, since from there we are going to get the tissues.

You must first make a cut in cross to that cover that I was commenting on. Now we are going to decorate the can. Use patterned paper patterned paper or you can draw or print any design. As you can see in the previous video, we have used a tile design that is so fashionable. Keep in mind that it is better to go with the decoration of the room where you are going to put the tissue box.

You must cut the paper taking into account the measurements of the can. Stick it with hot silicone.

Hanging vase

The vase works well with a large can or a long can. You should sand the edge part to avoid cutting yourself, and also clean it well before painting. When you have it completely clean and sanded, you must paint the can using chalk paintThis way you will leave the vintage look of chalk finish. To hang the vase, you can roll a wire as if it were a handle.

The rear will be a wood plank. You can paint it as you like and you should let it dry for at least 12 hours.

So that you have a hook where to place the vase, choose a decorative hook the kind that are sold in DIY and decoration stores. At the back, screw a hook with a ring to be able to hang it on the wall.

Now you just have to put the flowers that you like the most in the tin and hang it on the hook.

Candleholder

In this candleholder it is best to use a can of tuna or any low can.

Choose some tiles that you like or that combine with the decoration of the space where you are going to place the candle holder. You must paste them with silicone hot all over the rim of the can. When you have that edge covered with the tiles, you should apply flashing or also called cement for mosaics. Extend it with a spatula and let it rest for a few 15-20 minutes.

When that time has passed, cleaning the mosaic with the help of a sponge or cloth dampened in water.
