There are well-prepared ski slopes and stations that are designed for fun, for the family or for sports. If you have not yet made your plans for this winter, watch out for these proposals.

Baqueira Beret

Ski slopes

We start with one of the ski resorts most exclusive in Spain, located in Lleida. This is Baqueira Beret, winter vacation spot for the Royal Family. It is also the place that has the most expensive ski passes, but in exchange it is possible to see famous people if we are lucky. In this ski resort there are more than 150 skiable kilometers, 103 slopes, 34 lifts and 629 canyons that produce snow to optimize the use of the station. There is also a leisure and restaurant area at Baqueira 1500, which was recently inaugurated.

Formigal

Formigal station is located in Huesca and stands out mainly for being a family oriented station, with a great deal for children. They have various activities on the children's slopes and snow gardens where children can entertain themselves and enjoy themselves. It also stands out for having a leisure area in which there are fun activities that are not available in many stations, such as a go-kart circuit on a frozen track, paintball in the snow, rides on sleds pulled by Nordic dogs or ski biking.

Sierra Nevada

Sierra Nevada

Sierra Nevada is said to be one of the most fun ski resorts, ideal for young people. During the night there are many areas where have fun and entertainment venues. During the day there are also activities available, such as Russian sledding, a kind of roller coaster but on sleds or the innovative bike-slalon, a sport in which slalons are performed on a wide-wheel bicycle.

Boí Taull Resort

This ski area of Lérida is the highest, with a maximum height of 2.751 meters. It is created to be used as a resort, with everything close at hand. To improve this experience, they have also created a ski pass card and an App to find out about all the services and activities available.

In Huesca we find some of the best ski slopes in Spain. Cerler has been awarded and it has 79 kilometers to ski. Nearby we can find the town of Cerler, with a typical valley style. This station in the Aragonese Pyrenees has one of the highest slopes in the mountain range to enjoy skiing.

Astún

Astún is located in Jaca, in the known Aragonese Pyrenees. Another important station with 50 kilometers of slopes and with all kinds of leisure services available. Nearby you can visit the city of Jaca and there are also other activities, such as the ice rinks.

Candanchú

This is the station oldest in Spain, and surely one of the most famous and well-known, despite having only 50 skiable kilometers, much less than others like Baqueira Beret. In it you can go cross-country skiing and enjoy off-piste areas. It is perfect for both experts and those just starting out in the world of skiing.
