The vocation is related to finding the purpose of life, that is, so that you can feel the reason why you are in this world. It is a way of understanding your passion, of following that internal impulse that will make you live your life in a particular way. Vocation is undoubtedly an intimate part of your personality that you must discover in order to pursue your dreams and achieve your goals.
It is not always easy. Sometimes, the path that life puts us underfoot does not seem to be well ordered to be able to follow without difficulties the dreams that you feel. But if you look closely and really want to, you will be able to achieve whatever dream you set your mind to, following your passion and realizing your vocation as a way of life. Your behavior, your decisions, influences, the way you define your goals… Everything will make it focus in one direction and have meaning.
If you follow your vocation and realize yourself based on it, then you will be able to find the key to success, you will feel happiness and also, you will have great satisfaction in life. Even if you do other things in life, if you really have a vocation and a purpose to follow, then you will return to it, because it will be what really satisfies you.
But how do you know if you have really found that personal call already? How do you know if what you are doing now is really that vocation that fills you up and makes you feel good every morning? If you are not sure if you are meeting your goals well, it is time to realize.
Signs that you've found your calling
- It is not something that you get out of your head, you cannot ignore it. You know it will not disappear from your mind.
- At first you will be scared, it will seem impossible, irrational or ridiculous. But the reality is that you know that you have to overcome that fear and take risks, because it will be worth it.
- You have always known that you wanted to dedicate yourself to it. You are naturally drawn to this action and those who have done it before you inspire you.
- You surround yourself with people who like to do the same as you.
- Your vocation is totally integrated into your life.
- You know that you have an innate talent to do that particular activity. It cannot be copied, it is something you know how to do well.
- You don't feel like you're working any day of your life. You love doing it, even if you are tired. The people around you do not understand how you can spend doing this activity so many hours.
- You feel emotion when you talk about what you do.
- You are a self-taught person in what you like.
- You feel calm, passion and satisfaction when you do this activity. If you don't, it's like a part of you is missing.
- Money is an incentive, but not a motivator. Even if you did not have to pay bills or live in our society as it is set up (you need money to live), you could develop that activity even for free. You know that you do good to others.
