How to make our own kitchen wipes

When we get ready to clean up, either the kitchen countertop, dust, or some other rigid surface that can get slightly wet, we usually use different cleaning products always depending on what surface it is and what type of stains it has.

If we are going to clean the dust from a living room furniture, for example, we usually take a dry cloth, suitable for "capturing" lint and dust, and previously apply a dusting spray. Yes, it is true that this usually leaves the surface quite shiny and without a self-respecting dust particle. But, what when we do not have that product because it is out of stock or because we prefer save on cleaning products for more important things in the home?

Either for economic savings, or also, for saving space (when we have cleaning products for each and every one of the surfaces of the home, we usually have to have a whole piece of furniture for these purposes), today we bring you an article that perhaps you are quite interested. We tell you how to make our own wet kitchen and powder wipes. You can clean any surface with it, they are disposable and will contain different products that will disinfect, clean and also leave a rich smell in their wake. If you want to know how they are made, pay close attention to the detail that follows.

Step by step

In order to make our own wipes you will need the following elements:

  • Roll of kitchen paper.
  • 2 glass jars (if possible recycled) with cover.
  • Alcohol pharmacy.
  • Water.
  • 1 tablespoon liquid detergent.
  • Cleaning vinegar.
  • Droplets from essential oil that you like the most (lavender, vanilla, rosemary, etc.).

The first thing we will do is cut the kitchen paper roll in half and thus we will obtain two halves. We will put each of these halves in each of the glass jars that we have recycled (they have to be taken with the lid closed). We will use one of these cans for the kitchen and the other for other types of surfaces.

Al boat that we will use for the kitchen We will add the following (with half the roll of paper already inserted), in this order:

  • A finger of water.
  • 1 finger of medical alcohol.
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons of detergent or liquid soap).

At another boat, we will add the following:

  • A finger of water.
  • A finger of cleaning vinegar.
  • A few drops of the essential oil that you like the most. We recommend the lemon one for its rich smell.

Once we have put all of the above, we will close both cans and move so that the different elements mix and penetrate the kitchen paper. We then open the jars and remove the cardboard inside each of them. And ready! We already have our own wet wipes for all types of surfaces.

As you will see, it is a fairly inexpensive product and very helpful when it comes to daily cleaning the home. If you liked our cleaning advice today, do not hesitate to share it with your friends. It is very effective!
