A Spanish firm has been in charge of kicking off the New York catwalk. Desigual was parading for the sixth time at NYFW and has had the honor of launching this new edition with a collection that honors the concept of 'affordable luxury'. Although the color palette is more neutral and relaxed, adapted to the cold season, the new Desigual collection does not lack its characteristic prints and patchwork.

Desigual, autumn-winter 2016-2017

The new Desigual collection once again opts for a eclectic style that delights in the details and the chosen materials. We find fabrics such as jacquard, twed, velvet, leather or the essential denim, which are enriched with details such as lace or embroidery.

The garments that Desigual proposes us for next winter are maxi dresses, scarves, coats, miniskirts or capes. It is a varied collection, very urban, that is inspired by the great cities of the past and present. The prints are the main protagonists, from the oriental motifs, such as the flowers of Japan, the dandelion or the cherry blossom, to the more baroque geometric prints or graphics.

The color palette features the brown, red or eggplant, with touches of gold and yellow in some pieces.
