Avoid using hair setting spray
If you absolutely must use a hair spray, always make sure it is formulated for colored hair. A gloss hairspray is the obvious best choice, because a normal hold hairspray will make hair color appear duller.
Use sunscreen for hair
The sun is extremely harmful to hair. If you really want the color of the dye to last longer it is necessary that you protect your hair from UV radiation, since it is one of the factors that most intimidates the tone of dyed hair.
If you are going to spend time in the sun, first apply a lotion with sunscreen and also try to wear hats or scarves that prevent the rays from reaching your hair.
