With vegetable wax
To create a solid homemade air freshener you will need to use soy wax, that is, it is a product in addition to being handmade, it is vegan. As for the ingredient used to achieve the perfume, you can opt for the essential oil in which case the amount to use will be 5% of the amount with respect to the wax. If you want to use a botanical oil, the percentage will be 10% with respect to the amount of vegetable wax used. These are the materials you will need to create a solid homemade vegetable wax-based air freshener.

The process is very simple and will not take you more than 30 minutes. The key is to melt the soy wax, a process that must be done over low heat. When the wax is fully melted, we add the necessary amount of the chosen aroma. Remember, if you use essential oil you must add 5% and if it is botanical oil the amount will be 10% compared to 100gr of soy wax.
Stir with a wooden spoon and mix the ingredients well. Next, pour the mixture into silicone molds. How to make solid air freshener with jelly
This other option is just as simple as the previous one and the steps are very similar. The difference is that the ingredient used to obtain a solid matter is gelatin. The process is the following, first we have to boil a cup of water, with an envelope of neutral gelatin and four tablespoons of salt. When the mixture is boiling, remove from the heat and add a cup of cold water.
At this time we will add the chosen perfume, we will need about 10 or 15 drops of essential oil. And so that the solid air freshener also has a nice color, we will add a couple of drops of food coloring. Pour the mixture into glass containers, such as yogurt jars, small mason jars, or any glass jar you have at home.
