It is not the first time that we talk about Pikolinos Maasai project, a sustainable project that every Spring-Summer season gives us a wonderful collection of leather sandals made in Spain and embroidered in Kenya and Tanzania with the characteristic colors of the Maasai Mara community.
Cut in Spain based on the designs, the leather pieces are sent to the Maasai Mara to be distributed among all the manyattas participating in the project. Once embroidered, they return to Spain where they surprise for their color. Not everything is sandals in the Maasai collection of mills; this season we can also find ballerinas and even loafers for men wearing a small embroidered Maasai detail. A total of eight designs, available in a wide variety of colors, complete the Women's collection.
If you are looking for flat sandals with which to enjoy summer comfortably, you will find the most appropriate for you in the Nairobi or Tembo collections. Made of leather, most of them have a embroidered anklet with the beautiful colors and designs of the Maasai community. All of them also have a small wedge or heel for greater comfort.
In the collection you will also find wedge and heel sandals. The former have a synthetic wedge with a 7 cm heel; the latter are a centimeter higher, perfect to stylize your figure. They also have the Maasai embroidery made by hand, some chains that hang from the mime and that give them a lot of personality.
Although sandals are the star footwear of the Maasai collection, they also include ballerinas in beaver color with embroidered details in red, black and white.
