Green bean, shrimp and walnut salad

This salad of green beans, prawns and walnuts it is perfect to take to the beach or to work. You can prepare it in advance, store it in a glass tuper and enjoy it anywhere. And it won't take you more than 20 minutes to get it ready, promised!

In addition to green beans, prawns and walnuts, you can incorporate numerous spices, as we have done, which will transform its flavor, and some cheese flakes, that are never left over.

Ingredients

  • 400 g. green beans, clean and chopped
  • 200 g. peeled shrimp (thawed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ras el Hanout spice mix
  • 12 walnuts
  • A few slices of cured cheese
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Step by step

  1. A few hours before preparing the salad, place the prawns in a bowl with a tablespoon of oil and the spice mixture. Mix, cover the bowl and let it rest in the fridge so that the prawns get all the flavor of the spices.
  2. Bring water to a boil in a pot and cook the green beans around 10-15 minutes. Then cool them under the water tap, drain them and reserve.
  3. Sauté the prawns in a skillet until they turn color and are slightly golden.

  1. To finish assemble the salad. Place the green beans on the bottom and add the prawns, walnuts and cheese flakes.
