Can't you memorize the amounts of any cake? So it's because you don't know the four-quarter cake whose main ingredients are four: sugar, butter, eggs and flour; in identical proportions. Yes, four ingredients are enough to make a great cake.

En BezziaHowever, we wanted to add a fruit base to the recipe, in this case caramelized apple. We have calculated the quantities for a 15 cm mold. but you can play with the amounts for a bigger one; 200g. for a 20 cm mold. it could go well. Do you dare to prepare it?

Ingredients

  • 134 g flour
  • 134 g of sugar
  • 134 g butter at room temperature
  • 134 g. egg (2 XL eggs)
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. chemical yeast
  • 1 large pippin apple
  • 1 tbsp. generous of brown sugar

Step by step

  1. Line the base of a 15 cm mold. with greaseproof paper and grease the walls.
  2. Peel and cut the apple into thin segments and caramelize them in a pan with the sugar. Once done, place them on the foldo of the mold so that they rise completely.
  3. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
  4. Sift the flour together with the chemical impeller and reserve.
  5. In a bowl beat the butter and sugar until a smooth cream is obtained.

  1. Then, add the eggs, lightly beaten, and beat again until fully integrated.
  2. Incorporate the flour with the chemical yeast in the form of rain and mix with enveloping movements.
  3. Put the mixture on the apples and take to the oven. Bake 45 minutes approximately or until the center of the cake with a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Remove the cake from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then unmold and let cool on a rack.
