I have to confess something: I have never managed to walk with dignity with flip flops. They are not for me. However, they are a great ally for many when summer arrives. There are those who not only use them to go to the beach, but have also incorporated them into their day-to-day life.
With flip flops it is a bit like with t-shirts. They originally had a clear purpose but have gained ground over time to occupy an important place in the summer outfits, in the case of these. Do you also use them for everything?
We are talking about the simplest flip flops, those flat with simple designs and in neutral colors such as black and white. Designs that are not recommended for walking long distances but with those that keep your feet cool. This summer we have been able to see them combined with shorts in outfits designed for the beach, but also as part of other types of outfits that are equally relaxed but with a different purpose.
The minimalist cut dresses and flip flops have formed a very popular tandem this summer. A tandem that has become a comfortable and fresh option to enjoy moments of leisure in combination with raffia accessories such as bags and hats.
We have also seen them combined with fluid monkeys and with linen sets loose cut. Also with jeans in simple styles in which these are combined with basic t-shirts or sweatshirts. Styles, in short, relaxed to enjoy the summer.
But there are also those who have opted for this footwear to complete looks, a priori, for more formal situations. Combining it with capri pants, a basic t-shirt and a blazer or raincoat you can create work outfits with which to give your feet a rest.
