Cysts on the ovaries

Cysts on the ovaries

A few weeks ago we talked about the breast cysts and today we will talk about another type of cysts, ovarian cysts.

Ovarian cysts are one of the most common conditions in women of reproductive age. It is characterized by the formation of fluid or semisolid matter in the ovarian sacs and can develop in or on the ovaries.

If you went to the gynecologist and they told you that you have cysts on your ovaries, don't worry. Cysts are not related to any disease, they are the product of ovulation. Normally they are produced in the follicles of the ovaries, which are responsible for producing the ovule, but when these follicles fail to rupture to release the ovule, the fluid inside it remains and the cyst is formed. These cysts usually go away in 8 to 12 weeks and on their own.

The cysts that need to be taken the most care are those that are formed by hormonal disorders such as polycystic ovarian disease or polycystic ovarian syndrome (SOP). These diseases require medical treatment.

If you also present disorders in your menstruation such as irregular, prolonged, reduced or absent menstruation, do not let it pass and go to the gynecologist to take tests and prescribe the appropriate treatment.

Hi …… 3 years ago I had a problem like all of you and believe me if it is difficult when you don't know if those cysts are malignant or not…. But the important thing is that they are taken care of in time so as not to have more serious problems for their children… I am 21 years old and I have a 2 and a half year old girl… now this week I have felt very bad about my left breast and the truth I was very scared because it was a pain that I do not say to anyone ... well I say goodbye and remember that health is first before anything else bayyy ...

Hello, I am 25 years old and about 5 years ago I had cysts in my ovaries, I have already had 3 children, all with cesaria. Before my last pregnancy I had an ultrasound and I still have them, they already did the last cesarean and they disconnected me. My question is, are the cysts removed after disconnecting or do I have to undergo treatment?

    Hello
I have a cyst in the left ovary of 4 cm
They did an ultrasound and they detected it like that, they did not look at me because I was having my period, they prescribed Neogynona and I have to take two boxes, I have been taking them for a week and a half, two days ago I had sex with my boyfriend, and it felt like a little tug And a discomfort on the side where I have it, I called the gynecologist and he told me that nothing is wrong, but I am very afraid, could I have hurt myself by having sex? Are the pills that are having an effect? Or could it be that I am growing? It is the first time I have taken them in my life ... I already lost an ovary 5 years ago due to another cyst and I am very afraid of losing the one that remains.
Thank you and I hope for a quick response.
