Animal print dye in hair, how to do it

animal print hair

El animal print It is a quite popular pattern in many things, such as clothing, accessories, bedding, footwear ... but in addition to that, it is also used in makeup of the lips and eyes, but the most unique thing is its application to the hair.

In this post I give you the guidelines that you have to follow if you want to incorporate the animal print in your hair. Pay close attention and follow the step by step to get the safari look you want.

First you have to choose a section of your hair where to try the look. Keep in mind that it cannot be on the entire mane because it would not be pleasant to the eye.

The hair must be light enough to show the animal print print, and you may need to lighten it a bit before proceeding to this look.

Choose the colors you want to use to make the print, this has no limitations, it only depends on your style and what result you want to obtain. You can use a permanent dye as a temporary one (this is best until you get the hang of it).

You need to choose three colors: a base color, a border color, and a fill color. Note that it is simpler to make a lighter colored base and darker edge than the fill colors.

The typical combination of animal print more realistic is a yellow base color, a black border color, and a pink, red or brown color in the center.

Next you have to prepare the dyes, the base one if it is your natural color you don't have to. On the other hand, if you must dye the hair, it must already be colored.

To make the marks, cut celery stalks in the thickest part, always trying to make flat and even cuts. You can vary the size of the animal print spots, with celery of different thickness.

Comb the hair sector where you will apply the pattern well and then cover the lower part of your hair to a piece of cardboard with masking tape. This will keep it in place while you paint it

Dip the end of a celery stalk in the dye, making sure that everything is covered, without excess product so that it does not drip onto your hair.

Apply to hair evenly, spacing the designs however you want, but remember that each one does not have to have the same direction. Try to imitate the skin of a leopard.

With a cotton swab, clean any stain of dye before the hair absorbs it, then with a brush dipped in the other color, fill in the center of the animal print pattern.

Leave the corresponding exposure time and rinse as you do with ordinary dye.
