- Aluminum: Aluminum blinds are very light and resistant to heat and light. They can also be curved which allows you to look out the window without having to raise the blind. You will find them with different widths of slats and finishes at very affordable prices.
- PVC: PVC Venetian blinds are resistant to moisture, making them ideal for spaces such as the kitchen and bathroom. Over time, however, UV rays can alter its initial color. Together with the aluminum ones, they are usually the most used due to their lightness and how comfortable they are to clean.
You can find your Venetian in different widths and there is even the option of having them cut and finished with the appropriate accessory, so you will have no problem adapting them to your windows, whatever size they are. Normally you will have to choose width 15 cm - 20 cm higher than the width of your window, although it is advisable to follow the manufacturer's specifications to take the measurements properly.
Remember that this type of interior blinds will not be equally practical on all windows. If your windows are hinged or tilting, you must place them at a certain distance from the window to be able to open the windows comfortably. However, you will not have any problem with casement windows with a degree of 180ºC and sliding.
