- The primer also serves for the powder or cream shadow that we use later better adheres to the eyelid and therefore our makeup lasts longer eyes intact. Once we put on makeup, what we all obviously want is for that makeup to last the more hours the better, therefore, the shadow primer favors this.
- And as a third and final reason, primer makes we do not get folds of color on the eyelid. When the hours go by, if we usually have a somewhat oily eyelid, the shadow that we have put in the crease of the eyelid from so much opening and closing the eye accumulates. A good primer will prevent this from happening.
The primer should be applied with the fingertips and in very little quantity, since if we use too much we can cause the opposite effect of all the points that we have seen previously. Therefore, apply a very small amount to each eyelid and spread and blend well with your fingertip without dragging too much. Remember that the skin of the eyelid is very fine and therefore delicate!
