Fragas do Eume (A Coruña)

The natural park of Fragas del Eume is a protected natural space located in the province of A Coruña. Its fragas are considered one of the best examples of thermophilic Atlantic forest on the European continent and offer beautiful walks on foot. With four established access portals, without communication between them, the most visited is the one that sets the Caaveiro monastery as its destination, an ancient monastery with more than 10 centuries of history.

Sierra de Urbasa (Navarre)

The Sierra de Urbasa is a magnificent natural park located in the region of Tierra Estella – Lizarraldea in Navarra. A paradise for nature lovers that welcomes one of the largest beech forests on the peninsula. In its more than 21400 hectares of extension, it is also possible to discover caves such as Los Cristinos, Akuandi or Noriturri, turquoise water rivers such as Urederra and cliffs such as the Balcón de Pilatos with walls over 200 meters high.

This natural park offers numerous hiking trails; simple to do as a family or more complicated, such as the ascent to Mount Beriarin, which with its 1492 meters is the roof of the natural park.
