Summer brings with it the latest trends in swimwear, collections in which you will surely find your perfect bikini or swimsuit to carry in your suitcase this vacation. This season, floral prints, neoprene and bright colors are some of the most repeated bets by the main swimswear firms. Do you want to know them better?
We start by analyzing the collection Beachwear by Suiteblanco, which stands out for its wide variety of models at very affordable prices. The 'bandeau' style continues to be one more season the most sought after bikini model, perfect for sunbathing without fearing unsightly braces. The sweetheart neckline is also gaining ground as one of the favorites this summer, in addition to the one-piece designs. Ruffles, metallic applications, fringes or cutouts are the pure trend of the season, especially among the youngest.

The designer Guillermina Baeza is one of the great references of swimwear in our country, a safe bet if we want to find a different and quality bet. In his new collection for this summer 2015, Baeza proposes a trip to the most magical and dreamy Paris inspired by Woody Allen's film, 'Midnight in Paris'. Natural colors, vichy squares, retro airs… pure vintage inspiration in a collection that perfectly reflects this Parisian style.
The line 'Le Voyage' is a journey through time, an adventure, a reunion in the most magical Paris, whose light is portrayed in a proposal full of femininity and attention to detail. In her swimsuits and bikinis, the designer expresses her taste for artisan work, in which we see from delicate crochet inlays in metallic tones, draped work or vintage-style applications.
The color palette also responds to this trend, with combinations of metallic tones, with gold and silver threads, and vintage-looking colors. Aqua greens, mauves, oranges, browns or grays are the protagonists of the line. We see swimsuits, bikinis, but there is also space for trichinis, in which low cuts, necklines at the back with a bow or openings abound.
In 'Sweet Years', Guillermina Baeza's inspiration comes from the 70s, from her fashion, her culture or her art. In this line, transparencies, strategic openings or asymmetries, cuts and designs that seek to enhance the female silhouette predominate. The color palette is more lively and energetic than in the other line, reds, oranges, greens and blues predominate here. Where we see the most retro style is in the prints, with motifs of stripes, polka dots or the classic flowers.
Ariadne Artiles for Yamamay, bathroom collection 2015
The Canarian model Ariadne Artiles continues her successful collaboration with the Yamamay firm. After several seasons lending her image to the brand, Ariadne debuts as a designer with a capsule collection of swimsuits and bikinis for this summer 2015. This time, the muse of Yamamay wanted to capture her vision of swimwear through three lines inspired by three of the volcanic islands of their land: Gran Canaria, La Graciosa and Fuerteventura.
Gran Canaria, an island that stands out for its beautiful beaches and postcard landscapes, is the inspiration for a selection of bikinis, swimsuits and accessories in bright colors and with cheerful patterns. Ariadne Artiles has chosen the Jacquard fabric as the main protagonist of this line, a material that reflects the joy and vitality of the island of Gran Canaria.
La Graciosa, is one of the smallest and most unknown islands of the Canary archipelago. It stands out for being a destination away from the tourist crowds, with idyllic beaches and volcanic areas that give it its unique landscape. For this reason, this line stands out for its natural colors, inspired by this landscape, with earth tones and dark sand.
On the line 'Fuerteventura', Artiles has found inspiration in the colors of the wild vegetation of this island. The collection stands out for the fabrics dyed in green and natural tones, and the accessories to go to the beach with style.

Although swimwear is not its main priority, Zara also has its 'beachwear' collection for this summer. This year, the Inditex flagship is opting for triangle bikinis, in a minimalist version or decorated with fringes, in summer colors such as oranges, greens and blues. Tribal prints or floral embroidery add a fun touch to this swim line, which is completed with accessories for a holiday look such as raffia hats with a 'tie dye' effect, 'shopper' style beach bags, wallets handheld to store the essentials on the beach, towels or colored sandals.
