In two weeks we have prepared two very different cakes from each other. Last week we offered you a lemon syrup cake and this week a somewhat heavier irresistible dog, a marble cake with chocolate black.
A cake like this needs little presentation. It is a classic among classics although different versions of it can be prepared. This is one of the simplest; perfect for prepare as a family with the smallest of the house.
Needless to say, a bite of This cake is irresistible. But it can be even more so if you serve it with a ice cream ball as a dessert or accompanied by a good coffee in the afternoon. Do you dare to try it? Buy the ingredients and get down to business.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 200 g. of sugar
- 150 g. softened butter
- 150 g. Of flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 150 g. chocolate for desserts
Step by step
- Separate the yolks of the egg whites and heat the oven to 180ºC.
- Beat the yolks with the sugar until you get a very creamy mixture.
- After add 100g. of butter into cubes and beat again until incorporated into the dough.
- Mix the flour with the yeast in a bowl and sift the mixture to add it to the dough with encircling movements.
- Now, mount the whites to the point of snow and add them also with enveloping movements.
- reached this point divide the dough into two bowls and reserve.
- melt the chocolate in a bain-marie with the remaining butter and add it to one of the bowls. Mix until homogeneous.
- pour the masses alternately in a greased or parchment-lined pan. You can insert many layers so that they intermingle or, like us, simply place one dough on top of the other. Then with a knife or a skewer stick if you want a finer drawing, mix both masses lightly.
- Put in the oven previously preheated and cook approximately 45 minutes.
- Once done, take it out of the oven and after five minutes unmold it on a rack to cool completely.
- Enjoy the marble cake with cold chocolate (if you can resist)
