Go to the employment office
If you are not registered in the SEPE (Public State Employment Service) or in the corresponding employment service of your Autonomous Community, do it! Go to their offices, deliver the necessary documentation to create your profile as a job seeker and make an appointment with a counselor. These can advise you on the route to follow and provide you with valuable tools to get out of that blockage that we talked about in the introduction.
Once registered, do not stop check job offers in the corresponding portal. Dedicate a little time every day to consult both new job offers and training, since as we explain later, these can help you acquire skills that could be useful to highlight your professional profile.
You should know that there are also associations, employment centers and job banks aimed at vulnerable groups: people with disabilities, women victims of gender violence or citizens at risk of social exclusion; which you could also go to.
Set a goal and create a good resume
Finding a job is an objective in itself but you must also have a professional objective. What do you want to do? What kind of job are you looking for? What are your priorities? Spend a day or two answering these questions in writing. It will help you outline what will be the itinerary to follow.
Then think about what you can highlight from your profile and that you think could be useful to achieve your goals. The job search can create certain insecurities that it is necessary to counteract with this type of work. And don't settle for analyze your strengths, then also look for the weak. This way you will be prepared both to create a good resume, write a presentation letter attractive and survive interviews.

You do not need to explore all the job portals that exist, but it is convenient that you choose at least two portals or general job search platforms to get started. Explore what types of jobs are offered, select those that interest you and extract information from them.
